| BoA Releases First US Album |
South Korea's pop superstar BoA Tuesday released her first U.S. album amid high expectations that she will be able to reenact her success story in Japan in the world's largest album market.
The self-titled album will also be released in Korea and Japan Wednesday and in China, Malaysia, India, Singapore and Thailand later.
The album contains 11 songs including flagship song "I Did It For Love," and dance tracks "Energetic," "Eat You Up," and "Look Who's Talking." The flagship song was written by Sean Garrett, the famous American producer, and its video was directed by Joseph Kahn, who has made promos for Britney Spears, Chris Brown and Eminem and won the Best Video of the Year and Best Direction in the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards.
"Girls on Top," the title song for BoA's fifth album in Korea, has been arranged with new English lyrics.

Ask BoA Questions For Her Next Interview!
On October 25, 2008, BoA and her promotional company, SM Entertainment, granted "Sidewalks Entertainment" her very first United States television interview. Taped at the popular Union Square in San Francisco, the original interview quickly became the most popular viewed clip, only hours after its released on SidewalksTV.com (the previous record holder was the men from "Stargate: SG-1"). BoA fans from around the world were excited to hear the singer speak conversational English.
During the week of March 16th, "Sidewalks" is scheduled to interview BoA for her second appearance. Interviewed again by "Sidewalks" correspondent Christina Lee, the show is planning to have a segment block where questions will be from BoA fans.
Depending on time constraints and/or BoA's availability, "Sidewalks" is considering asking around ten fan questions. Some questions may appear on the TV show and/or web site.

BoA's Jewelry Line Gets Own Homepage!
Back in April 1, 2008, BoA established a jewelry brand named "Ramee by BoA" with the help of her second brother, Kwon Soon Wook. The first store which opened at Lotte Department Store's Young Plaza features 20+ accessories designed by BoA herself.
There was a "Ramee by BoA" section on the Ramee Jewelry Website but finally she has created her own homepage for her Ramme by BoA Jewelry line.

| BoA's Signing Event at Virgin Megastore in SF: CANCELED |
BoA's signing event, which was planned to take place at the Virgin Megastore in downtown San Francisco on March 19 was canceled. One of our staff members visited the Virgin Megastore today and confirmed with store managers that the event was to take place at that store but was recently canceled. The reason has not been revealed by Virgin Megastore managers. It seems Northern California fans do not have as many chances to see BoA as Southern California fans do and should really make an effort to hold some more events in the San Francisco Bay Area.
